Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced last night in Washington, that international travel will return to Australia by Christmas at the latest.
In exciting and long-awaited news for international students and migrants to Australia, the PM said, “If you’re vaccinated then … we’re expecting to be welcoming back students, we’re expecting to be welcoming back skilled migrants we’re expecting to be welcoming back – when they’re vaccinated – people into the country on that basis.”
Mr Morrison said that once the vaccination rate hits 80%, Australian borders will reopen, but only to vaccinated travellers.
